The content advisory committee works together to develop the educational content that is delivered in the summit sessions and knowledge hub sessions. This includes reviewing abstracts received through the call for content, as well as potential speaker proposals received. The committee also helps identify subject matter experts who will be invited to participate in the panel discussion sessions, which are developed during the committee meeting. Committee members also provide input on content for the keynote, Utility Executive Roundtable megasessions and co-located workshops at the event. The HYDROVISON International advisory committee is comprised of executives, consultants and engineers from all sectors of the global hydroelectric industry, including electric utilities, independent/private/municipal power/industrial power producers, engineering firms, trade associations, government agencies, consulting companies and other suppliers germane to the industry. A variety of expertise and background is needed, covering the gamut of the hydropower and dams industry. As HYDROVISION is a global event, attracting attendees from nearly 40 countries in 2024, perspectives from around the world are welcomed and encouraged. The committee meets in person once in early November, and the rest of the work is conducted via conference calls and emails.
