HYDRO+ Series™️ | Water and Environment: Forecasting, Response and Preparedness for Extreme and Varying Hydrology

Date & Time
March 2, 2022
Event Description

With climate change affecting weather patterns worldwide, resulting in more droughts and extreme events, advanced hydrologic and streamflow modeling can help hydroelectric project owners adapt their operations, now and in the future.

This session, a sneak peek/preview of the type of content that will be presented at HYDROVISION International 2022 in July, showcases efforts around hydrology and modeling in the context of extreme events. In particular, attendees will learn about how data can be used to derive a range of potential meteorological and hydrologic runoff scenarios for the current and future climate that are then used to evaluate a range of flood outcomes and how those can be used for design, forecasting and response.
